Just in time for #44 the New Era Obama Fitted

Buffalo hat maker New Era Cap Co. is launching a line of Barack Obama-inspired headwear that draws from the incoming president's campaign themes.

A red baseball cap has Obama written in black and the number 44 in the lower corner to commemorate the 44th president. The words "change" and "progress" appear on black caps.

The $35 caps are being sold beginning Thursday at New Era's flagship stores in Buffalo and Atlanta, as well as at the Villa in Philadelphia and Finish Line in Chicago and Washington.

New Era says it's giving a portion of proceeds to charity.

The Obama-inspired caps are in the popular 59Fifty style. Those are the fitted caps worn by Major League baseball players and celebrities.
